Planning : Collaborates on care plans, engages patients / families in goal setting. Implementation : Assists with patient care, respects rights, responds to emergencies, and educates patients.
Evaluation : Applies rationale based on principles and seeks help to prevent errors. Professional Conduct : Demonstrates knowledge, maintains self-evaluation, follows policies, and participates in education and goal setting.
Qualifications : High school graduate / GED. Graduate from a one-year Practical Nursing program. Special study of medications, their administration and side effects are necessary before assuming the responsibility of preparing and administering medications.
License / Certification : Currently registered with the Indiana State Board of Nurses Registration and Nursing Education as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
BLS level of CPR certification is required.
