The Erosion Company (TEC) is currently hiring a Chief Revenue Officer . We are the largest and most experienced Erosion Control contractor in the Southeast and we are currently expanding.

TEC offers comprehensive erosion control, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up / control services to a wide variety of clients.

The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for all sales throughout TEC. Their main objective will be to ensure that TEC has the proper structure, staffing, product offerings and territory for the sales organization in order to continue to grow the company.

The following duties will be expected of this position :

Responsibilities and Scope

  • In concert with the CEO, determine the proper sales structure of the organization to obtain an increasing number of profitable sales.
  • Hire the proper sales reps as well as any sales managers needed to get the sales structure in place.
  • Create proper training program and checklist for the sales reps to follow.
  • Determine a budgeted sales amount on an annual basis. In addition, determine the plan as to who and how that will be obtained.
  • Work with other departments to help analyze sales and margins to determine any strategic moves that need to be made to improve the company.
  • Work with the Administrative department to help set policies on collections for the sales team to follow.
  • Coach the sales managers and sales reps where appropriate to improve the sales staff.
  • In concert with the CEO, determine a strategic direction for types of products and territory for TEC.
  • Be able to work with the VP of Operations to ensure proper communication between departments.
  • Identify strategic prospects, jobs and industries and coordinate sales efforts landing those prospects.
  • Identify geographic markets that are underserved and work with Ops to successfully grow into those areas.
  • Identify other business opportunities that TEC doesn’t currently serve and work with Operations to perform new services.
  • Create and maintain relationships with the associations / major players within our industry and geography
  • Any other duties assigned to them by the CEO

Required Qualifications :

  • Proven track record of annual growth through new account acquisition and organic growth with existing accounts.
  • A passion for a potential client and customer engagement to create and deepen relationships.
  • Expert people and presentation skills.
  • Expert with CRM systems
