Lockheed Martin Mission Processing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our infrastructure team.
As a Systems Engineer IT Staff, you will design, implement, and maintain several large-scale compute systems for mission-critical programs.
You will have a deep background in systems administration, scripting, networking, and cybersecurity. This position administers information systems across multiple programs and requires the agility to solve problems and troubleshoot ad-hoc issues.

Key Responsibilities :
- Configure, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux systems as a Privileged User, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Harden the system to meet classified STIG compliance.
- Develop and utilize PowerShell, Bash, and other scripting languages to automate tasks and streamline operations.
- Design, deploy, and manage on-premises & cloud solutions.
- Work both independently, alongside a team, and across multiple programs to resolve complex issues and keep our systems running efficiently.
- Stand up and maintain operational, resilient systems, including NAS storage, backups, and other related infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and availability.
This is an MID-SENIOR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates require 9+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.
Selected candidate must have a TS / SCI security clearance and Sec+ cert prior to start.

Desired skills
- Familiarity with classified security best practices, STIG compliance, and Privileged User responsibilities.

- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Understanding of DevOps & CI / CD principles and related tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.
