The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding an Energy Sales Leader to our growing Energy division in North Carolina. At McKinstry, it is our mission is to make every building we touch more efficient.

No matter what the energy challenges, we put all our energies into meeting it. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include :
- Develop consultative relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Identify outcome-based solutions and lead government clients to contract closure.
- Develop and maintain a sales plan for identifying project opportunities.
- Collaborate with and lead Operations team to position client for success.
- Perform responsibilities such as lead generation, client satisfaction, proposal development, and client acquisition.
- Utilizes McKinstry’s tools and processes to support our customer relationship strategies.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
- Demonstrated history of sales success required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required.
- Knowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management, and energy efficiency preferred.
- At least two (2) years' experience in energy savings performance contracting with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales, and providing oversight to an Operations team preferred.
- Applicable organization affiliations and or professional group associations preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel within your state required.
- Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.

The pay range for this position is $95,175 - $137,700 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
