CONSTRUCTION QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Construction Quality Manager - responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and deliverables meet the specified quality standards, design, and specifications.
This role involves overseeing quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes throughout the lifecycle of a construction project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and oversee the quality management processes pertaining to construction during the construction work.
- Prepares, develops, and implements the Construction Quality Management Plan within the required schedule constraints.
- Revises and updates the Construction Management Plan when deficiencies are identified or Project needs dictate.
- Verify application of the Construction Quality Management Plan at all tiers of the construction organization.
- Leads audits of the Construction Management Plan throughout the Construction Work.
- Reports Construction QA / QC activities and results to the Developers Project Quality Manager.
- Manages lower tier construction quality managers.
- Verify proper implementation and close-out of the NC process including verification of implementation of corrections and corrective actions in the NCTS and coordinate with the Design Team, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar
- Fifteen or more years of experience as a Construction Quality Manager for complex multi-disciplinary construction projects
- At least one completed assignment as the Quality Manager for a $400M project or four separate construction projects with at least a construction value of $100M each.
- Experience following USACE, AASHTO, DOT construction specifications is required
- Current licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and willing to obtain reciprocity in North Dakota
