KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manages the CNC team on ERP IT projects and initiatives as required for Corporate or Divisions. Manages large enterprise-wide ERP infrastructure projects or initiatives.

Participates on larger or more complex cross functional projects. Responsible to ensure project documentation is created based on project size and complexity.

Ensures appropriate documentation is created for support, cross training, and moving systems into an operational state. Manages the implementation of new / additional ERP related technologies including hardware and software upgrades, as well as any new / updated processes.

Manages a CNC team responsible for completion of change / service requests for customers and peers on ERP systems. This includes following departmental controls and processes and documenting in IT support systems.

Responsibilities include but is not limited to management of security modifications / updates, schedule changes, software development life cycle (SDLC) requests, and various other system changes.

Ensures IT management sign off and validate business approval has been completed prior to making any change. Obtains IT Director approval for any Production changes during business hours.

  • Management responsibility for all performance standards and monitoring procedures
  • Management of the CNC team that typically serves as third level support for incidents and changes that involve the ERP ecosystem.

Will be responsible manager for CNC related escalation issues where appropriate and serve as the technical manager from LZB when triaging toughand critical incidents.

  • Manages and leads Triaging / RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for issues identified as impairing or impacting the service or reliability of La-Z-Boy ERP related ecosystem.
  • Coordinates closely with the EA (Enterprise Architect) to align with strategy and product roadmaps that are ERP centric.
  • Manages CNC team with opportunities to automate manual processes through RPA / Scripts / Toolsets to free up team members for tasks that provide value to La-Z-Boy
  • Provides ideas and opportunities for innovation to the IT leadership team and leads POC’s that support that vision.
  • Manages the Creation / Review / Renewal of CNC related SOW contracts SCOPE & IMPACT : Responsible for managing the support and operations of the core systems used to operate (JD Edwards, OTM, BSSV, all ERP related Add-ons).

Much of the team's work required is completed off hours and on weekends during pre-defined maintenance windows. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field with 6-8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Supervisory / Leadership experience
  • 10% Travel Required
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office especially Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Highly competent in estimating, planning, tracking and reporting project status, while managing change requests and project scope
  • Track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to effectively work with both technical staff and business process owners
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Excellent facilitation skills in a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
  • Master’s Degree
  • JDE CNC Certificate
  • 8 + years of experience in designing, deploying and supporting Infrastructure solutions and systems development in a Linux or
  • Microsoft client server environment, in an ERP capacity
  • 6-8 years’ experience in at least 2 different J2EE application servers (Tomcat, Jboss, Weblogic, etc.)
  • 4-6 years’ experience with VMWare and 1 competing Virtual Machine platform
  • APICS or other relevant Supply Chain certifications
  • Project management certifications or other related training
  • Management of teams using a formalized System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools
  • Management of teams using support / incident tracking tools (E.g. - Service Now) SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : 2-5 direct and indirect reports PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT : Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
