The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Game Tech Solutions Architecture team is looking for an experienced and motivated technologist with a passion for creating strategies, best practices, and solving complex business challenges focusing on the Games industry.
As an AWS Game Tech Solutions Architect, you will work with some of the most interesting hyper-growth games companies on the planet.
You’ll work with startups, indie studios, legendary blockbuster publishers, technology platforms, and middleware partners in the Games industry to help them build better games with the AWS cloud.
You will collaborate closely with the broader Games teams to shape the technical elements of our strategy and strengthen our engagement with customers and partners across the gaming industry.
Establishing technical credibility will be a key focus, as you will need to engage credibly with high-level stakeholders, from CTOs and CIOs to Chief Architects and Senior Developers, both from our customers and partners in the gaming sector.
Your ability to drive these discussions and demonstrate your expertise will be crucial.
You will work directly with our Engine, Platform, and Middleware Technology customers and partners to deploy, pilot, and scale gaming-focused programs in the field.
This will involve coordinating with our sales enablement, regional business development, and account teams to ensure seamless execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 2+ years of IT development or implementation / consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience working directly in customer implementations
- Experience working directly with game development technologies or game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
