Waterstone Resort & Marina, A Curio Collection by Hilton property, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Restaurant Manager to join our team! This is a unique opportunity as food and beverage is at the heart of our Resort's repositioning.

The Restaurant GM oversees our very popular outdoor, waterfront restaurant, SeaSpray, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing the front of house operations for the Restaurant.
• Providing training, direction, supervision, and hands on support
• Direct associates and supervisors to accomplish goals and objectives of the food and beverage operation
• Ensure the proper preparation of food and beverages to the satisfaction of our guests, brand and ensures all safety, health and hygiene requirements are consistently met
• Hire and Train service staff
• Ensure, direct, and facilitate communication, engagement and conflict resolutions as needed by the team to ensure a positive associate environment
• Review timecards and tip-outs for a bi-weekly payroll
• Inventory, ordering supplies, managing costs & expenses for FOH
• Participates in MOD program as needed
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma / GED, post high school education and degree preferred
• Minimum of two years food and beverage supervisory experience, preferably with a hotel & / or an all-day dining restaurant
• Food Handler / Manager & Alcohol Awareness Certification preferred, or able to obtain within 30-days of hire

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and restaurant POS systems
• Team player
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills
• Hotel & / or three-meal restaurant experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations, Front of house, back of house, and room service preferred
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, and event planning
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including PM's, weekends, and holidays
