Governors Club is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Line Cook to join our team. Our Lead Line Cook is a key team member who collaborates with and supports the entire line team in the seamless execution of service.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and stocking station according to guidelines
- Leading ala carte service from the line on a daily basis
- Preparing all food items in a sanitary and timely manner
- Following recipes, portion control and presentation as set by Governors Club
- Restocking of all items as needed during the shift
- Cleaning and maintaining the station practicing good safety, sanitation and organizing skills
- Properly using all equipment in station
- Assisting with the cleaning and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
- Performing additional responsibilities as requested by the Sous Chefs or Executive Chef as needed
Qualifications :
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Skilled professional cooking, knife handling, kitchen safety and sanitation practices and food handling
- Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and work calmly and effectively under pressure
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for duration of shift
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Full-Time : Regular employee averaging 32 or more hours per week after 90 days
Part-Time : Regular employee averaging 31 or fewer hours per week after 90 days
Rate of Pay :
$18.00 or more per hour, based on skill level and experience.
Hours Available :
2pm-10pm Tuesday - Saturday
10am - 5pm Rotating Sundays
