Associate Attorney (Family Law) - San Diego, CA
One of San Diego’s oldest and most prestigious law firms, seeks an Associate Attorney to join the Firm’s Family Law Practice Group.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist supervising attorney in management of family law cases
- Prepare letters, pleadings, declarations, lodgments, attachments to subpoenas, financial disclosures, mediation, and trial briefs
- Propound and respond to discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and prepare motions to compel
- Telephone and email contact with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits
- Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings and trial
- Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums
- Track billable time
Qualifications
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
- Two to five years of family law experience desired
- A fast learner with strong analytical skills and oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Highly motivated professional who can take initiative and work well within a team
Anticipated Base Salary $115,000.00 - $165,000
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible depending on the candidate
