Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital is seeking a BE / BC ear, nose, and throat (ENT) physician to join its growing team of experienced specialists in the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology.

The Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology is comprised of compassionate physicians and advanced practice providers who currently care for patients in four fully integrated office suites equipped with videostroboscopy / endoscopy, speech pathology, pediatric audiology, and a brand-new ambulatory surgery center.

Physicians in the department actively teach pediatric residents, medical students and PA students. In addition, the Department has several established subspecialty programs including the regions only pediatric Cochlear Implant Center, 22Q Multidisciplinary Clinic, Cleft and Craniofacial Center, and the vascular malformation center.

Subspecialty interest in voice, swallowing, advanced airway, or craniofacial disorders is encouraged but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a quaternary care regional referral center, serving the South Florida community, at a -bed freestanding childrens hospital.

This is a full-time employed position with the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a lucrative compensation package.

Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital is a bed free-standing childrens hospital in Hollywood, Broward County, Florida located near Fort Lauderdale.

The hospital recently underwent a 4-story vertical expansion to double the number of floors and continue to meet its commitment to providing the highest quality and safest care for children in the region.

This expansion opened in November and includes a state-of-the-art Pediatric ICU, a new 20-bed cardiac ICU and step-down unit including new ORs with hybrid capabilities, three cath.

Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital (JDCH) has robust high-risk and congenital programs including a US News and World Report ranked pediatric Cardiology and Heart Surgery Program, one of only two active programs in the state that does heart transplants.

JDCHs Orthopedic and Sports Medicine program is also ranked by US News and World Report as the top pediatric orthopedic program in Florida four years in a row and is one of the largest programs in the southeastern United States.

JDCH also has robust Neurosciences, Hematology / Oncology and other general and specialized surgical programs (approximately 10, surgeries per year), and the areas largest pediatric and neonatal transport team, which also does mobile ECMO.

JDCH also houses the Center for Complex Care, which is a joint alliance with Boston Childrens Hospital.

JDCH serves over , children per year from around the state. Approximately , children are cared for in our three emergency rooms across the county per year.

JDCHs services continue to grow with the opening of the new specialty center / ambulatory surgery center in Palm Beach County in and a new ambulatory pavilion in Miramar, near Miami-Dade County which will open in .
