Marketing / Research Commercial Real Estate Internship 10 weeks (paid)
DEADLINE TO APPLY : December 2, 2024
Description :
10-week internship program offers learning experiences in the areas of marketing, research, and
communications within commercial real estate brokerage, commercial and residential property
management, and investment / development.
Expected Outcomes :
At conclusion of internship, intern should be able to demonstrate ability to i) gather market
research data, ii) navigate a CRM platform (Apto) iii) research properties and businesses, iv)
develop targeted marketing campaigns (to include social media and email) to prospects.
Education :
Rising seniors majoring in business, communications, real estate, or marketing.
Requirements :
Students applying for this internship must demonstrate proficiency in all Microsoft applications
Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
Experience or education should demonstrate interest and commitment to a career in the commercial
real estate industry
Demonstrate dependability, self-sufficiency and motivation in past work or extracurricular
activities

Conducted in person at Glen Allen, VA corporate office
Orientation to Thalhimer and aspects of all commercial real estate disciplines including the
following : o Brokerage
o Brokerage
o Capital Markets
o Development
o Residential Property Management
o Commercial Property Management
o Project Management
o Research & Marketing Functions
JUNE 4 - AUGUST 7
Under guidance from research and marketing director, complete specific work / project assignments in
Thalhimer's Glen Allen location primarily
AUGUST 8
Located in Glen Allen office for intern group for project wrap-up presentations and individual exit
interviews
