New York ICU Medical Director needed for upstate New York health system
A leading healthcare provider in upstate New York is seeking an experienced ICU Medical Director to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will oversee administrative duties while actively participating in clinical care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient services.
Responsibilities :
- Allocate 0.40 FTE to administrative duties, including workflow implementation, quality metric determination, handling of inquiries, and conducting quality case reviews.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to report on administrative matters and implement strategic initiatives.
- Provide direct clinical care for 0.60 FTE in the ICU setting.
- Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
- Lead quality improvement efforts and participate in performance reviews.

Requirements :
- Valid New York State (NYS) medical license.
- DEA registration.
- Board Certification in Critical Care.
- Pulmonary / Critical Care experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience required.
They offer a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes :
- Starting Bonus and Competitive salary with incentives
- Compensation is $495,000
- Work-life balance with a manageable administrative workload.
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
