The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Senior Pension Administrator to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Cranston, RI.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the day-to-day administration duties and client relationships for a caseload of 80 plans.
- Demonstrate the ability to read plan documents and amendments and summarize core provisions and explain to clients.
- Prepare amendments as needed.
- Perform annual compliance testing for assigned clients (402(g), 415(c), 410(b), 404, 401(a)(4), ADP / ACP, Top Heavy etc.)
- Prepare and file Form 5500, Form 5330
- Reconcile plan assets.
- Maintain industry knowledge and share information with team members.
- Monitor the due dates for client deliverables and regulatory reports and produce them timely.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years’ experience in Defined Contribution administration
- Experience with ASC, FT Williams and PensionPro software required.
- ASPPA certification (QKA, QPA, QKC) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team player.
- Clear, accurate and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
