The EB International Practice Leader assists USI’s clients in overseeing, managing, and making decisions on their benefit and retirement plans for local national employees in foreign countries.
Provides national support and resources sales, marketing and client servicing to producers for their U.S. clients that manage benefit and retirement plans in foreign countries, including global carrier relationships and oversight of Worldwide Broker Network local brokers.
Responsibilities : Client Servicing
Client Servicing
- Manage team of International Benefit Client Services Advisors
- Work closely with producers to set strategy, scope of services, project plan and remuneration for client service engagements
- Prepare client services agreements and / or statements of work
- Engage and advise on complex client situations, including M&A services , multinational pooling and broader strategy for small-emerging multinational clients
- Oversee work of local brokers, engage as needed including escalation
- Monitor service delivery, ensure client satisfaction
Sales & Marketing Support
- Develop sales and marketing materials and knowledge resources (OMNI)
- Actively support producers in the development of new business, including participation in sales huddles, prospect calls, proposal preparation and finalist meetings.
Global Resources Management
Maintain information on and relationships with global partners, essential to servicing USI clients, including :
- Worldwide Broker Network local brokers members
- Strategic partners; payroll, MGU, PEO’s
- Global insurance companies and multinational pooling network.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- 15 + years’ experience with benefit and retirement plans in foreign countries, including practice management, business development, client relationship management, global carrier relations and local broker oversight and management.
- Direct experience on managing a team of experienced consultants.
- Strong management and analytical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
- Diverse client experience; size, geographic scope, industries, M&A
- Disciplined global project management skills
- Advanced analytical skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse, multi-lingual and cultural teams, USI clients and foreign brokers.

Extensive experience and understanding of insurance solutions for international assignees and international business travelers.
Extensive understanding of international market conditions, regulations, technology and trends and carriers.
Strong functional knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products.

Salary Range : $200,000 - $215,000. This is a bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 30%.
