Position Responsibilities :

  • Manage and supervise on-site construction projects from start to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and specifications
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and timely project delivery
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and resources, providing regular reports to the project team and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met and client expectations are exceeded

Position Essential Job Functions :

  • Extensive experience in commercial construction with a focus on educational, healthcare, and multifamily projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
  • Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant tools

Position Skills :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects within budget and timeline
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel extensively to project sites, both local and out-of-state
  • Good tenure with previous employers, demonstrating commitment and dedication
