The Job :

As a VP Finance, Supply Chain Americas, you’ll be part of our T&O Global Supply Chain Finance team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to :

• Key leadership role within our organization, reporting directly to the CFO, T&O Supply Chain. This position serves as the primary business partner to the VP America’s Supply Chain.
• Responsible for driving margin and cash performance across the region.
• Oversees an organization of 30+ employees across North and South America. This role is critical in managing the supply chain financial routines in the Americas region, which accounts for $9B in revenue and is the largest Region of Stanley Black & Decker.
• Drive margin and cash performance cross-functionally with T&O Commercial, Brand, and Product teams.
• Support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process in decision making and solutioning to ensure customer delivery and supply chain performance.
• Work in partnership with America’s commercial organization to deliver profitable growth, complexity reduction, pricing strategies, and cost to serve efficiencies.
• Lead regional finance staff and on-site controllership teams responsible for a mix of 30+ owned and 3PL Distribution Centers.
• Execute core financial routines in the region : Monthly Close, Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Budgets & Strategic Plans, Balance Sheet Reviews, Internal Audits, etc...
• Ensure compliance to US GAAP, SOX, and SBD Policies and support a strong internal control environment.
• Build a team and culture that elevates skills and business acumen, encourages, and fosters communication, and clearly communicates and sets performance metrics.

Set stretch goals, gain buy-in, inspire, and hold the team accountable.

• Drive change management and process improvement initiatives across the supply chain finance function and develop a culture of data-backed decision-making.
• Manage business and system integration projects to deliver strategic initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related Degree.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within a supply chain environment, minimum 10 years’ experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage significant revenue and cost portfolios.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to drive performance.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to support integrated business planning processes.
• Proven capabilities in change management and process improvement, with a track record of driving efficiency and effectiveness.
