We are a fast-growing manufacturer of specialty home appliances located in Brea, CA. We are seeking a dynamic individual who would like to learn and grow with us.
Primary Job Duties
Providing timely and quality repairs of appliances in-house (no travelling)
Diagnosing cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance with supervision
Testing and installing electrical parts and components with supervision
Removes and install covers, guards, and electrical and electronic devices
Must be able to assemble, install, and remove basic mechanical devices
Recording testing and troubleshooting results throughout the repair process
Maintaining stock inventory of parts
Warehouse organization and maintenance
Packaging repaired products
Providing feedback and resolution on common / reoccurring issues
Skills / Qualifications
Preferred 1 2 years of appliance maintenance or repair technician experience but will train
Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
Ability to speak and write in English
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow direction in a fast-paced environment
Self-sufficient, highly motivated with desire to learn new proficiencies
Enthusiastic self-starter who contributes to the department's efforts by accomplishing related results as required
Strong dedication to problem solving and process improvements
Must be a true team player, personable, professional and flexible
Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of all company assets
Requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, counting lifting and kneeling
Requires lifting and or moving unit up to 70 lbs. (team lifting)
