Immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate in Irvine, CA who possesses : -1+ years experience in warehouse setting-Microsoft Office suite experience-1+ experience years in inventory control Email resumes to mlowe@ FULL DESCRIPTION : The warehouse clerk will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and kitting orders in preparation for shipping.

The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Follows instruction of the warehouse lead.-Reads customer order to determine items to be picked and packed.

• Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.-Determines method of shipment (refrigerated or non-refrigerated)-Inserts items into containers.
• Prepares parcels for mailing or shipping.-Uses computer to enter records.-Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons.-Examines outgoing shipments to ensure proper distribution to FedEx UPS etc.
• Follows instruction of the warehouse lead.-Follows work order SOPs to fulfill all kitting requirements and requests.-Follows instruction of the Inventory / Receiving Specialist-Assists to unpack and examines incoming shipments, notifies Receiving Specialist regarding damaged items, shortages and non conforming materials.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code once items are released from receiving quarantine.
• Routes items to departments.-Comply with relevant company procedures and instructions.-Identify and process non-conforming products.
• Supports the company's Safety and OSHA requirements by ensuring warehouse is clean and clear of debris and refuse.-Maintains proper storage of materials and products.
• The selected candidate will also possess : -High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.-Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to write simple correspondence. -Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. -Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of QuickBooks; Internet software; Fed Ex and UPS Shipping Software-Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR, Part 820, Quality System Regulation.
