Job Description
A Senior Database Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining database scripts, ETL, automation, and manual data loading process development and documentation for a B2B web application.
Responsibilities include :
- Reviewing requirements and building new database tables, views, and stored procedures
- Creating new ETL using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Automating container creation using Azure Batch (in Python)
- Running periodic data loads, ad-hoc data updates, and queries
- Performance tuning existing Azure SQL database tables, indexes, and stored procedures
Qualifications
- Good Communication Skills
- Azure SQL Server development and maintenance
- Proficient Python skills
- Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse Analytics development and maintenance
- SSIS package development and maintenance, Jupyter notebook and SQL notebook development
- Azure DevOps or JIRA experience is a plus
- Experience with Azure Analysis Services a plus (SSAS in the cloud)
- Experience with PowerQuery / PowerBI / PowerAutomate a plus
