We are excited to offer a 13-week contract position for a Local Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist to work with our client in Chico, CA.
Job Description : As a Local Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be a key player in delivering precise laboratory results and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Your role will include :
- Performing a variety of diagnostic tests on patient specimens
- Analyzing and interpreting laboratory results with accuracy
- Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
- Following strict quality control and safety procedures
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care
- Documenting and reporting results according to laboratory standards
Education & Certification Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field
- Current certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) from a recognized certifying body (, ASCP, AMT)
- Valid state licensure as required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety practices
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
