Outstanding opportunity for an experienced, Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy, established surgical practice in Gastonia, NC (North Carolina), located just minutes from Charlotte, one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

CaroMont Surgical Associates consists of ten (10) Surgeons and eight (8) APPs. Responsibilities include inpatient / outpatient coverage with call responsibilities.

Hours will be 7a-7p, Monday Sunday, every other week.

Job description for the Surgery Lead APP role is as follows :

• The APP lead will be a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician assistant with proven leadership skills and excellent clinical acumen who will work closely with the Surgery Leadership team to further the goals of the organization.
• Will report directly to the Surgery Service Line Medical Director.
• Positively impact the overall culture of the clinic through an exemplary work ethic and embracing our CARES values.
• Facilitate communication between the provider staff, clinical staff and leadership to help ensure smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the surgery clinics.
• Engage in strategic planning, setting goals and continuous process improvement for the clinic.
• Assist in the hands-on implementation of new processes, workflows and standards as designated by the leadership team.
• Assist in onboarding new providers, providing mentoring and familiarizing them with the clinic operations.
