We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to oversee all aspects of our operations, ensuring the company’s continued growth and success.

Job Description :

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the ready mix concrete operations, ensuring efficient production, delivery, and customer service.

This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the ready mix concrete industry, and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership and Management :
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of employees, including production staff, drivers, and administrative personnel.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and achieve company objectives.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, safety, and professional development.
• Operations Oversight :
• Oversee daily operations, including batching, quality control, delivery logistics, and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and efficient resource allocation.
• Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Customer Relationship Management :
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand market needs and identify new business opportunities.
• Financial Management :
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Analyze financial performance and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Quality and Safety :
• Ensure that all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Strategic Planning :
• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion and improvement.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the ready mix concrete or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of ready mix concrete production, sales, and logistics.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with business management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
