Description
Parsons is hiring a Deputy Program Manager to support a large multi-million dollar Army program in Fort Belvoir, VA.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Under general direction from the Senior Program Manager, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned programs.
- Provide a single point of contact.
- Manage original concept through final implementation. Interface with all areas affected by the program including end users, computer services and client services.
- Define program scope and objectives.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, program estimates, resource plans and status reports.
- Conduct program meetings, program tracking and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review program deliverables.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to program team.
- Recommend and direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
What Required Experience, Skills, and Education You’ll Bring :
- Master's Degree in Project Management, I / T Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Biometrics or other related technical fields with 15 or more years of prior relevant experience.
- Four (4) to (8) years of management or leadership experience in programs and contracts of greater than $200M with multiple task orders and large-scale commercial IT procurement.
Shall have demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
Possesses an active Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PmP) certification
Clearance Required :
- Possess a current Secret clearance or above.
- Must be a US Citizen, without Dual Citizenship
