Job Summary
If you’re interested in an Entry Level Warehouse / Material Logistics, then this is the best role for you. This entry level position for general warehouse and materials management is responsible for the physical and transactional movement of material supporting a manufacturing plant, service logistics operation.
The scope of these responsibilities will occur within one or more material logistics functions (Warehousing, Receiving, Material Handling, and Shipping, or site-specific responsibility such as pre-sterile material handling or packaging).
Job Description
- Warehouse / Material Logistics is responsible for the movement of materials into, within and out of the plant.
- Following of all documented processes and procedures.
- Physical transport of materials and timely and accurate completion for all required SAP transactions using appropriate PPE and material handling equipment.
- Finished product packaging using visual work instructions according to all regulatory requirements.
- Completion of all required transactional steps to receive, pick, ship, store and move material.
- May support Service Receiving activities (Receiving, Logging into SAP data base).
Skills Required
- 1 or more years of relevant work experience.
- 1 or more years pick / pack experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Previous experience working in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Red Prairie or similar.
- Experience in inventory control, counting and verification of parts.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities..
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new IT systems and tools.
- Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift to 45 lbs.
- Previous production experience a plus.
- Powered industrial truck (fork truck) may be required.
Education / Training / Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
- Shift : 5 : 30 AM - 3 : 50 PM Monday - Thursday
Pay Rate / Salary
Pay Rate : $17.65 / Hr
