DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the administrative and technical management of the maintenance and engineering, cost control, schedule control, and overall performance.
- Manage day-to-day operations of facilities, including building maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and functionality of facility systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with department heads and facility personnel to address maintenance requests, service interruptions, and other facility-related issues.
- Manage facility budgets.
- Supervise facility staff, including technicians, custodians, and contractors monitor performance, and ensure quality of work.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED DEGREE / EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- A minimum of five (5) years of facilities operations related experience is required.
- Ten (10) years of experience may be considered lieu of education
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE :
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to pass a federal background check.
