ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a part-time Senior Master Electrician in Honolulu, HI with an active SECRET clearance .

ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

As Senior Master Electrician you will oversee and coordinate electrical installations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

You will lead a team in performing tasks such as installing switches, circuit breakers, and grounding leads while conducting comprehensive circuit testing and troubleshooting using appropriate devices.

Responsibilities :

  • Installs electrical components including switches, circuit breakers, grounding leads, and other electrical components as required (C.5.4.3).
  • Performs circuit testing for voltage, amperage, continuity, and safety after installation and adjusts as needed (C.5.4.3).
  • Works in accordance with all applicable standards, ie the National Electric Code (H.33).
  • Installs, maintains and repairs electrical control, switches, outlets, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Performs general electrical maintenance on a variety of electrical components and systems.
  • Inspects transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components for proper installation and operation.
  • Repairs and replaces equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
  • Installs conduit, wire, and associated parts from main service panel to sub-panels as required.
  • Bends and Installs surface mount electrical conduit.
  • Completes complex maintenance tasks, resolves deviations and evaluates equipment performance.
  • Connects wiring to lighting fixtures, power equipment, and controls instruments using hand tools (C.5.4.3).
  • Installs, alters, repairs, and maintains various electrical systems and related equipment for on-site work.
  • Installs and repairs grounding systems within the facility.

Required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of similar experience OR HS Degree or GED with a minimum of 12 years of experience
  • May be required to work Extended Work Week (EWW) Overtime and weekends may be required
  • CompTia Sec+ ce or similar to meet 8570 IAT Level II Certification
  • Travel to various sites (estimated at 50%)
