Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in San Diego, CA for a Warehouse Specialist. The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including shipping and receiving, packing, unloading, inventory control, and operating a fork-lift.
Qualifications
- Shipping & Receiving, Packing, and Unloading skills
- Inventory Control and Pallet Jack operation skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Forklift certification is mandatory
- Applicants for this position must demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including but not limited to basic software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and web browsing.
Experience with industry-specific software or tools related to the role is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable using computers for various tasks, such as data entry, research, communication, and basic troubleshooting.
Additionally, familiarity with keyboard shortcuts and efficient navigation techniques is preferred. Strong computer skills are essential for success in this role and will be utilized extensively in day-to-day responsibilities.
