Mill Repair Employee Job Summary
The Mill Repair Employees is responsible for safely maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment in the Milling plant, including mills, conveyors, and screens.
Key tasks include component replacement and repair of conveyor systems, mills, lube systems, crushers, and pumps. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, identifying mechanical issues, and may require welding (Stick, TIG).
Additional duties include maintaining work orders, keeping a clean and safe work area, and conducting inspections.
Mill Repair Employee Responsibilities
- Safely performs maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment and processes in the Milling plant including mills, conveyors, screens and like systems.
- Assist with and perform component replacement and repairs on, but not limited to : conveyor systems, ball mills, auto mills, screen decks, lube systems, filter drums, crushers, hydraulic filter presses, and foundry pumps
- Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance : identify potential failures / noises / wear on agitators, rotors, belts, pulleys, gear boxes
- May perform welding (Stick, TIG)
- Responsible for maintaining work orders, a clean and safe work area and performing work area inspections
Mill Repair Employee Position Requirements
- One (1) year of experience in mechanical / maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance
- Ability read and use schematics and blue prints
- Must have completed academic and competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees), and have experience demonstrating required mechanical aptitude.
Selected candidate shall demonstrate ability to apply knowledge and technical skills while also passing a written assessment.
This exam is based on technical skills / abilities and / or academic knowledge; as well as safety.

- Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.
- Salary Range : $24.00 - $30.00 Hourly
