IT Specialist / Programmer

Position Summary C. L. Rieckhoff Co., Inc. is a metal fabrication shop that specializes in products for the parcel handling business. We are seeking a full-time office based (negotiable) IT Specialist / Programmer to join our company. The position is based in Taylor, Michigan. Qualifications Knowledge of computer systems, PC repair, and network management Ability to deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktop and mobile Works under general direction as well as in a team environment Associates degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience Willingness to learn new technology systems. Responsibilities Entering work orders into OMS Update OMS as needed for enhanced performance Maintaining accurate records of company information Provides support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access, and hardware issues Identifies, researches, and resolves routine technical issues of moderate complexity May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user issues Provides technical support related to computer systems, hardware, and software Works with the IT team and interacts with system and computer users across the company Trains users on system and computer functions Maintains and updates company website Remains up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices Point person to assign and complete comprehensive project related tasks Regularly move around the office and occasionally the factory floor Full time on-site preferred, negotiable Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance 401k 401k Matching Paid Time Off Consistent Hours with occasional opportunities for Overtime (Time and a Half) Pay based on experience / ability
