Your Role

We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Metrology Engineer. This role will be responsible for both coordination and being on the floor.

The successful candidate will have experience with thermal mapping and general calibration, with a strong technical aptitude and mechanical mindset.

  • Perform hands-on calibration of a wide range of equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct thermal mapping studies for controlled environments to validate and optimize equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve calibration-related issues in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize calibration needs.
  • Coordinate calibration schedules, ensuring timely execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all calibration and thermal mapping activities comply with relevant industry regulations (e.g., FDA, cGMP).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all calibration and thermal mapping processes.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in metrology, with a focus on calibration and thermal mapping, in the pharmaceutical industry or FDA regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP, CFR part 210 / 211, CFR part 820, etc.) related to metrology.
  • Ability to perform calibration and metrology work in both laboratory settings and manufacturing settings.
  • Strong technical aptitude and mechanically inclined.
  • Demonstrates strong drive to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
