Job Title : Accounts Receivable Clerk
Company Overview : Our client, a respected manufacturing organization experiencing growth, seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their dynamic accounting department.
Partnering with CFS, they're looking for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to their continued success.
Position Overview : Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will manage invoicing, payments, collections, reconciliations, reporting, and assist with financial audits.
Location : Bethel, CT - On-site position, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.
Responsibilities :
- Invoice orders and review bank accounts for customer payments.
- Resolve deductions and collections, including making collection calls.
- Process remote check deposits and apply payments.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with intercompany settlements.
- Author and distribute Accounts Receivable reports.
- Analyze business practices for financial productivity improvement.
- Assist with financial audits and other projects as needed.
Qualifications :
- Prior accounts receivable or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
