ACERTUS is an automotive logistics company that offers portfolio of services that span across the vehicle lifecycle. As a Staff Accountant , you will perform all account research, reconciliations, and journal entries for car haul accounting processes.

Participates in month-end closing and updates the balance sheet package.

Schedule : Monday thru Friday 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm

Pay : Based on experience

What you will be doing :

• Match ACH entries, checks, and credit card transactions to reconcile bank transactions.
• Provide support and research in the month-end closing process.
• Create and upload journal entries and accruals.
• Maintaining reconciliation schedules for general ledger accounts and making adjusting entries as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or similar field
• One to three years of experience as a Staff Accountant preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel, and other general office equipment.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP).
• Ability to proactively research and resolve problems.
• Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Personal responsibility to manage change.
