What You'll Be Doing
As Director, Marketing you will be responsible for the inbound sourcing of leads / potential clients for the New Projects Team to close.
This will be Fueled’s first full-time Marketing hire reporting directly to our VP of Revenue (who oversees the Sales, Marketing, Partnerships and Account Management functions).
The role will require close coordination and collaboration with the New Projects team
- As Director of Marketing you will be responsible for generating leads / potential clients for the New Projects Team to close.
- Account Based Marketing : creating tailored advertising, personalized email campaigns, content marketing, and account-specific events for specific, high-value target accounts.
- Website Management : maintaining, updating, and improving Fueled.com as well as our sub-brand websites (in conjunction with our in-house design and development teams).
- Content Marketing : creating and developing valuable, relevant, and engaging content that resonates with the target audience (with the support of third-party writers) including but not limited to blog content, landing pages, whitepapers, email drip campaigns, etc.
- Social Media Marketing : maintaining our social media presence; posting relevant content (with the support of our social media agency partner)
- SEO : determining appropriate 3rd party blogs and news outlets to coordinate link-building campaigns, along with maintaining our homepage SEO health (with the support of our SEO agency partner).
- Directory Profile Management : maintaining and updating Fueled’s presence on sites such as Clutch.co
- Awards : identifying, tracking and submitting entries to award organizations
- PR and Earned Media Opportunities : identifying and facilitating PR and other third-party media spot opportunities
Who You Are
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role at a fast-growing agency who can hit the ground running
- Expertise relevant marketing tools
- Track record of marketing success in distributed / remote team environments, and ready to take on new challenges
- Formulate strategies with precision, and execute flawlessly across all channels
- Demonstrated self-starter comfortable trying new things, quick to learn new skills and able to proactively identify new opportunities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences

This screening will last approximately 30 minutes.
If all goes well, you'll chat with Perry Curac-Dahl (VP of Revenue) to better assess your skills and experience. In this call, you’ll be able to ask questions about team dynamics, current practices, expectations, etc.
The interview will be approximately 30 minutes.
- Next, you'll chat with Ryan Matzner (Partner). This will last approximately 1 hour.
- Finally, you'll meet with Rameet Chawla (Fueled's Founder and CEO). This will last approximately 30 minutes.
