Rome Health is currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Supervisor. The position responsibilities include :
- Providing administrative oversight for the nuclear medical technology department of a hospital, e nsures departmental adherence to standards developed by Nuclear Regulatory Committee.
- Ensuring renewal of Radioactive Materials Licensure and submission of amendments as approved by the Radiation Safety Committee, e nsures renewal of ACR accreditations, e nsures readiness for NYSDOH surveys, and prepares plans of correction as appropriate, o versees, in conjunction with RSO, personnel monitoring program, r eviews, develops and implements technical policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manages daily operations and regulatory requirements of the nuclear medicine department.
- Performs nuclear medicine exams in an acute care setting encompassing IP, OP, and ED patients.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of department processes, s upervises nuclear medicine technologists, and performs the functions of a technologist as needed.
Education - A graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. CNMT required. ARRT (NM) Optional.
Experience - Experience in acute care setting preferred.
