Job Description
The Health Administration programs at Pfeiffer University are seeking to establish a robust adjunct pool to teach a variety of courses in its high quality, online program.
Subject matter needs include, but are not limited to, health economics, law and ethics in health administration, and health services financial management.
- Responsibilities include utilizing effective teaching and learning practices such as recorded lectures, online demonstrations, virtual class discussion, innovative group work, project-based learning, and other appropriate modes of educational delivery;
- preparing course outlines and syllabi in accordance with program standards and in collaboration with the lead professor teaching the same course or program director;
- leading and monitoring classroom instruction that promotes an educational and learning process keeping with faculty academic freedom and responsibility;
evaluating and grading student performance and posting attendance and grades in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications
- Doctorate or Masters in Health Administration or one of the specializations noted above.
- Minimum of five years successful teaching experience.
- Expected to teach online.
