Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities :
- Design and draft mechanical components for each project.
- Develop and manage project timelines to meet critical deadlines, including show dates and open houses.
- Collaborate with software and electrical engineers, shop personnel, and technicians to optimize designs.
- Prioritize reliability, serviceability, and cost-efficiency in designs.
- Ensure adherence to ETL and UL standards during the design process.
- Create and maintain costed Bills of Materials (BOM) for each project.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
- Strong time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in decision-making.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) or Associate Degree (ASS) in a related field, with 3-5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks , PDM , and Microsoft Office is essential.
