Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Phlebotomist.
Position Type : Full Time, Contract to possible hire
Duration : 3 months
Location : Shoreline, WA 98177
Shift / Schedule : Mon.- Fri. 8am-5pm.
As a Phlebotomist, your responsibilities :
- Experience doing blood draws, labelling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
- Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
- Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex.
urine or fecal) as required.
Demonstrate technique / s using straight needles and / or butterfly needles.
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+-year experience doing blood draws of all age groups.
- Labelling specimens
- Centrifuging specimens
- Recording maintenance data and decontamination
- Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container / tube, accurately labels.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :
Pay Range* : $22.00 / hr to $28.50 / hr
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
