Description
Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Director, Global Brand Protection Capabilities & Technology to join our Global Brand Protection team located in Raritan, NJ.
The candidate will be expected to report to Raritan or one of our US sites on a hybrid schedule.
The Director works within the Johnson & Johnson Technical Operations & Risk Organization and reports to the Vice President (VP), Global Brand Protection (GBP).
The role is responsible for researching, developing and implementing brand protection capabilities and technology solutions designed to counter the risk of counterfeits and illicit trade worldwide, focusing on protecting patient safety, brand reputation, and reclaiming / growing business value.
The Director leads a US-based global team with specific technology & innovation focus areas including risk assessment, product security solutions, market monitoring, internet intelligence, data & analytics, and forensic lab capabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Managing and coordinating the strategy, priorities, activities, and budget of the Brand Protection capabilities and technology team.
- Engaging with key business and cross-functional partners to align, plan, develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of assigned programs / initiatives.
- Collaborating with the VP GBP and leadership team of brand protection to develop effective business cases, strategies, and tactics to mitigate brand protection risks.
- Assessing vulnerabilities to illicit trade of existing and new products and recommending risk mitigating measures.
- Managing and developing direct reports, fostering DEI.
- Partnering with external parties to identify brand protection threats and develop innovative solutions.
- Tracking and measuring key GBP metrics, technology program effectiveness, and vendor performance.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. A minimum of 10 years of relevant technical and business experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role, is required.
An advanced postgraduate degree is preferred. Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Consumer Goods sectors is required.
Global experience and experience leading diverse multi-functional teams is required.
Travel : 30%
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000-$244,950. The Company maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs and may offer an annual performance bonus.
