Summary
Functions as the member of the surgical team who assists the surgeon, anesthesiologist / anesthetist and RN in delivering direct patient care during the entire preoperative experience.
Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure.
Position Requirements :
- Graduate of a program of surgical technology of at least one year duration and possess certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians.
- Current American Heart Association CPR card
- Ability to function in emergency situations
- Ability to take call shifts as assigned
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
