Hartmann Young is partnered with an established and rapidly growing company in the health and wellness sector is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee and optimise their operational processes.
Based in New Jersey, this senior leadership role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the company’s long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations across manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and quality control functions, ensuring seamless coordination and adherence to high standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals, improving efficiency and driving cost-effective results.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations managers, ensuring professional growth, productivity, and alignment with the company’s core values.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to execute business initiatives, facilitate expansion, and optimise resource allocation.
- Monitor and manage KPIs across all operational areas, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies to maintain product quality and operational integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Significant experience in operations management, ideally within the health, wellness, or FMCG industries.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale operations, with a strong focus on supply chain management, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource optimisation.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally and building strong relationships across all levels.
