Our client, an intimate apparel and loungewear company, is looking for a Walmart Planner to join their team in Secaucus, NJ.
Responsibilities :
- Provide key data and analytics of performance within product categories across Walmart private label brands
- Create a 13-month rolling forecast to minimize excess inventory
- Set top line revenue targets and provides financial planning guidance for all buys
- Partner with VP of Planning to ensure forecasts support the retail & ecommerce financial flow
- Make additional recommendations to address product gaps
- Monitor ongoing demand planning and inventory needs
- Manage weekly top-line selling performance, ladder plans, production plans
- Compile style / color / size-level selling data for use in merchandising and inventory planning
- Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and establish action plans
- Manage budget process and inventory
- Assist in tracking inventory and shipping status for on time delivery both to the DC and to Walmart
- Develop and execute size, pack, and size balancing strategies
- Monitor and minimize OTIF charges
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of merchandise planning and allocation experience (Walmart knowledge preferred)
- Retail Math proficiency
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- Strong analytical skills and highly organized
Salary Range : $90,000-$120,000
