Job Details Title 2024-25 Statewide Dual Credit Plant Science Instructor Posting ID 1150 Description The Soulsville Charter School is seeking a part-time Plant Science instructor for the 2024-25 school year who will go the extra mile to ensure that their students achieve at high levels.

We currently offer the following courses to our students : Middle School (Grades 6-8) Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Music, PE and Special Education.

High School (Grades 9-12) Math (Integrated Math I, Integrated Math II, Integrated Math III, Statewide Dual Credit Pre-Calculus, Statewide Dual Credit Statistics, Bridge Math, Calculus), English (I, II, III, and IV, AP Literature, AP Language), Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Statewide Dual Credit Plant Science), Social Studies (World History, AP U.

S. History, Statewide Dual Credit American History, Economics, Government, Facing History and Ourselves, African American History), Music (Band, Strings, Choir, General Music), World Languages (Spanish), Special Education, Lifetime Wellness, Physical Education, AP Computer Science, Graphic Media, Intro to Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, and ACT Prep / Junior Seminar.

Begun in 2005, The Soulsville Charter School (TSCS)'s mission is to prepare students for success in college and life in an academically rigorous, music-rich environment.

Located in the inner-city neighborhood of Soulsville, USA, in Memphis, TN, TSCS is adjacent to the site of historic Stax Records, where the Stax Museum of American Soul Music now celebrates and preserves the Stax story.

TSCS began with sixty students in sixth grade and has since grown to serve 660+ students in grades 6-12 with about a third of the students living in the Soulsville community.

TSCS is a tuition-free, public charter school that is about changing kids' life trajectories. 100% of our first nine graduating classes (2012 - 2020) were accepted into college.
