Responsibilities
Ascension St. Vincent is looking for a CRNA for our Anesthetistdepartment.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincentto provide medical services to patients.
Administer anesthetic care for the purpose of facilitating diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures.
- Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
- Develop and implement an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
- Select, obtain and administer the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.
- Recognize alterations in physiologic responses to the surgical procedure and / or the anesthetic, takes appropriate action and notifies the responsible physician as indicated.

Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is a 240-bed acute care hospital in Anderson, Indiana, serving patients of all ages in Madison county and surrounding areas.
Services include a Level III Trauma Center, mental health and addictions unit, state-of-the-art cancer center, womens center, outpatient surgery center, ambulatory care, and outpatient rehabilitation center.

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
Required :
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of NurseAnesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required :
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior tohire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date.
Education :
Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Practice or Nursing Practice required
