smartdept. inc is searching for a 3D Designer for a visual merchandising client in the Seattle, WA area. This is a hybrid , ongoing contract opportunity .
The pay for this position is expected to be $60-65 / hr .

What You'll Do :
- Develop 3D visuals for our retail display projects in line with brand guidelines.
- Work closely with other designers and developers to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Integrate 3D elements and effects into existing projects.
- Maintain a library of 3D models and textures.
- Create 3D models from scratch.
- Perform 3D design tasks such as lighting and texturing.
- Work with a wide range of media including video, audio and photography.
- Maintain accurate records of 3D designs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team.
- Attend meetings with clients to discuss project requirements.
Requirements :
- At least 5 years of work experience in 3D design, environmental design, or retail design.
- Proficiency in 3D Studio Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and V-Ray.
- Experience concepting and giving creative direction.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
