Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for "Java Technical Lead" to join the team of IT professionals in a permanent role.

Education Details : BS or Equivalent

Job Location : Riverwood, IL (Hybrid)

Roles & Responsibilities :

Resource should have 6+ yrs of experience in Java / J2EE technologies

Strong understanding of object-oriented principles with an ability to write clean code

Strong experience working with a relational database and NoSQL database

Strong experience with CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar; Git / GitHub; Artifactory

Experience developing and implementing API service architecture

Experience in working in a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP or Azure.

Strong experience in scripting languages such as Shell / Python / Scala / Java.

Experience with AWS based solutions such as RDS, Lambda, Snowflake or S3

Understanding of messaging systems like MQ, Flux.

Experience as part of an Agile engineering or development team

Proven skills in high availability and scalability design, as well as performance monitoring

Build secure web applications with user authentication

Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

Experience with QRM, FIS OPF, Quantum, Fedline Advantage, Thomson Reuters OneSource is a plus

Experience working with vendor systems is a plus

Experience with the latest Java features

Expertise in Spring Boot for building microservices and REST APIs

Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React.

Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs

Experience with ORM frameworks

Experience with CIC / CD pipeline

Familiarity with testing tools (eg : JUnit, Mockito...)

Understanding of building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot and containerization with Docker

Experience with cloud services

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug sophisticated applications and understand logs and error messages

Experience working in Agile environments

Ability to work closely with teams, understand business requirements.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
