A Chicago based heavy construction company looking for a qualified Superintendent to join their team. This company invests in its team, providing a nourishing atmosphere where growth is promoted and compensation is top-notch.
Applier must have a proven track record of excellent project management and project services.
Superintendent responsibilities :
- Daily on-site supervision of the construction site.
- Develop and maintain an overall project schedule.
- Review and provide feedback on scopes of work for vendor and subcontractor contracts.
- Complete daily job reports.
- Coordinate inspections.
- Schedule pre-construction meetings with subcontractors to review the scope of work, submittals, schedule, and logistics.
Superintendent Qualifications :
- Be able to create, change, and maintain a project schedule using Microsoft Project.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Possess problem-solving skills.
- Be organized.
- Be a self-motivated team player who works well with others.
- Must possess excellent decision making / problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage and direct others.
