Job Description
On-site position located at Ruan Center downtown Des Moines, IA. This position is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of the company's financial management system.
Act as a hands-on subject matter expert to ensure day to day operations run smoothly for all modules of the system. Assist in the development of business requirements, functional and process designs, and maintaining financial reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities : Carrying out the Company's organizational values and operating in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies are required functions.
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Support and maintain all aspects of the company's financial management system, including implementation, ongoing maintenance, testing, configuring, process designs, training, and end-user support procedures.
- Maintain a high level of interaction with business stakeholders to continually enhance all aspects of the financial management system plan.
- Create technical configuration, including business process workflow, custom fields, custom validations, integration monitoring, and access rights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards created in the company's financial management system to be used as a replacement for existing, outdated Finance and Accounting modules.
Apply critical thinking and assessment skills to analyze problems and data as part of the development of corrective actions and recommendations.
- Review stakeholder input critically and play a role in designing and recommending the best solutions for Ruan's overall objectives.
- Ability to interpret data, analyze results, and use techniques that tell the story behind the data.
- Execute data and report validations to support ongoing audit and quality assurance processes.
- Perform system administration, including security maintenance, tenant configuration, master data management, data loads, issue monitoring / resolution, and upgrades.
- Provide daily operational support, training, and increase user engagement.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Requirements
Education : Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Course(s) of Study : Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fieldExperience : 5+ years
Type of Experience : Experience with business systems and an understanding of accounting and finance processes. Workday experience a plus.

Experience in process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes (Six Sigma certification, internal audit experience a plus).
Required competencies include attention to detail, demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects, comfort with analyzing large amounts of data, problem solving ability and the ability to operate in a fast-paced and highly confidential setting with minimal supervision.
