Job Summary : Bellingham Nissan is expanding and seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities :

  • Efficiently perform work specified on repair orders, adhering to dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional services needed and provide accurate estimates of repair time.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to meet manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • B-level qualifications, including expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
  • Excellent dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Positive, friendly attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Willingness to stay updated with new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
