- Complete and successfully pass a criminal history background check as defined (qualified / not qualified) by the IDAPA rules governed by Medicaid
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write in English
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Stand, bend, twist, lift, as a part of your duties to perform activities of daily living with our clients (cooking, housekeeping, dressing, showering, transferring, shopping, etc
- Treat all clients with dignity and respect
- Fully respect and execute all Client Rights as outlined on their Rights Statement
- Be able to read a plan of care and clearly note your daily activities
- Communicate respectfully, timely, and effectively with your direct supervisor
- Protect your clients from Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation
- Be prompt and on time to all assignments
- Communicate client changes in condition to your direct supervisor once identified
- Respect boundaries and recognize personal relationship boundaries with your client(s).
- Follow your designated schedule and call our office with all changes.
- Able to bathe, assist with toileting, hygiene, and complete personal cares for another person.
